Bank Of Industry Boss Visits Sorghum Mill At Northern Nigeria Flour Mills In Kano

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Bank of Industry, Mr Olukayode Pitan, recently paid a courtesy call to the Northern Nigerian Flour Mills in Kano.

He was accompanied by a team of senior officials from the Bank: Ibrahim Bisallah, Northwest Regional Manager; Omar Shekarau, SME North General Manager; Joseph Babatunde, General Manager, Large Enterprises and Lolo Kadafa, Group Head of the Food Processing Unit.

The team was received by Charl Marais, the Managing Director, NNFM and Alhaji Sani Umar, the Executive Consultant of the company, and were taken on a tour of the facilities at the mill.

The Sorghum mill which is part of a strategic investment drive in Kano, by Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc, was built at a cost of about N2 billion, has a capacity of 100, 000 metric tons per annum and will help advance the Group’s drive towards establishing an ambitious Pan-Nigerian network of grains aggregation and distribution centers.

Mr Olukayode Pitan, pledged the bank’s continuous support for NNFM and investments that were consistent with the current CBN Agri Initiative.
